RESONANCE RESET
Your voice. Your breath. Your experience.
Don't believe. Check for yourself.
This app does not tell you what you are supposed to feel. It helps you practice, observe your own voice and body, and record what you actually notice.
Find your natural reference point.
Home Tone is not one ideal note. You are looking for a place where your voice feels comfortable, calm and unforced. The app can show an approximate range, but your own sense of ease comes first.
In this method, you make the sound with your own voice. The microphone is used only for optional voice analysis on your device. Nothing is recorded or uploaded.
Ten minutes.
This isn't a test. The numbers before and after are just your own reference point.
This is intentional: the practice is based on your own voice, breath and silence. The app guides the timing and can optionally analyze your voice.
Now write down what you actually noticed, without interpreting it.
Choose what's happening right now.
Now say your first sentence once, quietly, in your Home Tone.
Find · Settle · Stay.
Fill in the tracker after you practice. Don't check every hour whether it's "working yet". Missing a day changes nothing.
What do my numbers actually show?
There is not enough history yet.
Log a few sessions and look at your numbers after a few days. The app doesn't diagnose or interpret your experience for you.
After the sound, add nothing.
First notice what remains in the body. Then the sounds in the room. Then the silence between them.
Simple. Concrete. No promises.
Home Tone
A comfortable range where your voice can settle without effort. It is not one ideal note and has no special physical value.
Hum - Tone - Silence
First a calm hum, then an open tone in the same comfortable place, followed by silence. In daily practice, silence lasts at least two minutes.
Five foundation practices
Long Exhale, Home Hum, Open Tone, Sigh Slide and Listening Silence. The hourly breath pause and micro-practices are used during the day.
Possible experiences
Yawning, tears, tingling, vibration, warmth, sleepiness, emotions or distraction may occur. None of them is a goal or proof that you are doing anything right or wrong.
Safety
Do not force your voice or breath. Stop if you experience pain or persistent hoarseness. Dizziness usually means the breathing is too fast or too deep - return to normal breathing. People with respiratory or heart conditions, after throat, neck or chest surgery, and people who are pregnant should talk to a trusted specialist before practicing. Focusing on silence can sometimes bring up difficult emotions or memories. You can open your eyes, shorten the silence, keep a gentle sound, or stop.
This tool is educational and experimental. It is not a treatment and does not replace medical or psychological care. Do not change any medication because of this app.
Data & privacy
Voice analysis takes place locally in your browser. The app does not store voice recordings. Your practice journal is stored locally on this device and can be exported or deleted.
Resonance Reset – a practice of breath, voice, and silence
Resonance Reset is a practical method for working with your own voice, breath, attention, and silence. Instead of relying on pre-recorded audio or external sounds, you use your own voice as a simple tool for observation and practice.
This app is a digital companion to the book Resonance Reset. It guides you through the stages of the practice, helps you find your “Home Tone,” allows you to perform daily sessions, provides short protocols for specific situations, and lets you record your own observations.
What is Resonance Reset?
The method is based on a simple sequence: Hum – Tone – Silence.
It begins with the calm, natural sound of your own voice. The voice then transitions into an open tone. Finally, the sound ceases completely, leaving only silence.
Here, silence is not merely a pause between exercises; it is an integral part of the practice. It is a moment to observe what happens to your breath, body, attention, and the experience itself once the sound has ended.
Resonance Reset requires no singing ability, musical knowledge, or special equipment. Your own voice is the primary tool.
Find your Home Tone
Your “Home Tone” is a comfortable vocal range where you can produce sound effortlessly, without needing to control the way it sounds. It is neither a single “correct” note nor a universal frequency that applies to everyone. The app guides you through three simple ways to find your own “Home Tone”: a calm “mm-hmm,” a natural sigh, and a slow glide of your voice up and down.
You don’t have to sound good. You don’t have to sing. You don’t have to hit a specific note. It’s about finding the place where your voice feels free and making sound requires no tension.
Daily practice – 10 minutes
The core Resonance Reset practice is designed as a simple, repeatable session lasting about ten minutes.
Long Exhale – a calm, extended exhalation.
Home Hum – a gentle hum at your Home Tone, observing the vibrations you can feel.
Open Tone – transitioning from a closed “mmm” to an open sound.
Listening Silence – remaining silent for a moment and observing what arises after the sound stops.
The entire practice is intentionally simple. It is not about achieving a specific state or performing the exercises perfectly; it is about regularly returning to your own experience.
Breathing exercises and voice work
Breath and voice are directly linked. The way you breathe affects how you produce sound, and the way you use your voice can shift where you focus your attention.
That is why the Resonance Reset combines breathing exercises, gentle vocal exercises, and mindful listening. It is not vocal training, nor is it about developing singing skills. Humming – making a gentle, humming sound with your mouth closed – serves here as a simple way to use your own voice to focus your attention on the sensations associated with sound and the body.
Resonance Reset as a personal experiment
The app doesn’t tell you what you should feel.
Instead, it allows you to observe your own experience. You can record your tension levels before and after the practice, note where you feel the vibrations, describe your state after the exercise, and observe changes over the following days.
This turns the practice into a personal experiment. You don’t have to take any theory on faith; you can simply see what actually happens in your own case.
The Resonance Reset Program – 21 Days
The app also features a 21-day practice program that guides you through the method step-by-step.
The first stage focuses on finding your “Home Tone” and learning the basic practice. Next comes a phase of greater consistency, incorporating your voice and breath into everyday situations. The final stage allows you to maintain the full sequence and observe your experience over the long term.
It’s not a race or a points-based system. If you miss a day, you simply pick up the practice again.
Quick Reset – practice for specific situations
You don’t always need a full ten-minute session. That’s why the app also includes shorter practice protocols.
You can choose from options such as a pre-sleep practice, a quick routine for moments of sudden tension, preparation for a difficult conversation, or a short version for days when you are feeling overwhelmed. Each of these protocols employs the method’s fundamental elements: breath, one’s own voice, attention, and silence.
Listening Silence – silence following the sound
One of the most important elements of the Resonance Reset is Listening Silence.
Once the sound ends, there is no need to immediately move on to the next exercise. You can remain still for a moment and notice both your own body and the sounds of your surroundings.
It is a very simple listening practice. It requires no music, recording, or guiding voice.
At some point, the app technology may also no longer be needed. Its purpose is to help you begin the practice, not to replace your own experience.
You don’t have to take my word for it. See for yourself.
Resonance Reset is not a system based on promises of instant transformation. It does not attribute magical properties to specific frequencies, nor does it claim that a single sound affects everyone in the same way.
It is a practice based on a simple premise: instead of adopting yet another theory, examine your own experience.
Notice your breath. Hear your own voice. Feel its presence in your body. Let the sound fade away. Listen to the silence. Then, return to your daily life.
